Energy costs were a consistent source of pressure for brewers, with a reliance on gas for process heat leaving businesses vulnerable to price fluctuations. Emissions and clean manufacturing were also becoming increasingly important for customers. In this webinar, a collaboration between the Independent Brewers Association and the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity, we shared some of the renewable heat technologies that brewers could consider.

The dairy processing sector is one of the sectors with greatest potential and options for transitioning to renewable heat options, with a range of technologies available. In this webinar we listened about those technology options and what steps dairy processors should take as they begin the transition to renewable heat. We also heard the results of renewable heat feasibility studies completed for the Australian Dairy Products Federation and for Burra Foods.
